Weekly Musings - 7

Looks like the Champion series is a fun event. Steffi and the kids were there to watch Andre live. As usual Steffi looks great (Photo 18 of 19 in the gallery provided in the link below from Las Vegas Sun).

Another interview of Steffi during her recent Berlin visit. As usual, a humble, down to earth answer from a person who can easily be ranked among the top female atheletes from all around the world. Here is her response to being selected as the best German female athelete:
"That's a huge compliment. But it is hard for me to see me like this or to find justifications for it. I much rather just talk about others than about me".

Pannetta achives what only Steffi Graf has done so far and she did this way back in 1986, beat the singles No:1 and doubles no:1 players on the same day. Never knew that statistic before.

An article on Naiktha Bains and how Britain lost an young prospect to Australia. She was in Vegas earlier this year and had a chance to hit with Steffi, some one to watch in future and per Cahill's tweets, Steffi was impressed by the young girl (she won couple of under 18 events in Australia in the last few weeks). Can see Steffi with Bains in the article.

Video of Steffi hitting with Bains in Vegas.

Steffi and Andre playing tennis in Vegas, Andre is probably preparing for the CS matches this weekend.

A photo of Andre and Steffi taken at the recent Prague event wins an award in a phtography contest. Now, if only they can show us what photo that was.

Last week, it was Gaby and this week it is Steffi's turn on Douglas Perry's archive from the past.
